2009 Church/Charge Conference
Peace Parish will be included in a cluster conference with Oxford and Clover Ridge UMC’s on Thursday, November 5 at 7:00 P.M. at Salem, Van Horne. Please plan to attend.
Elberon will host Pastor Appreciation Potluck on Sunday, November 8 at 12:30 P.M. All are invited to thank Pastor Norm and Pastor Jena for all they do for our parish. Bring food to share if you wish, and your own table service. Drinks will be provided.
On October 27, 2009, 9:00 am, Bishop Trimble will be in Cedar Rapids for a Block by Block ribbon cutting! Block by Block staff, donors, friends and neighbors will be celebrating a milestone - the first block has a solution for every home that is participating in the program! We will gather at the 1300 block of 8th St. NW - see you there!

Strength for Service Sunday
On Sunday, November 8, we will have the opportunity to thank our military troops by collecting a special Strength for Service offering.
Strength for Service is a daily devotional book that is specifically written for those in the service of others. Your gift will help to send these much-needed books to our military men and women overseas who protect our freedom daily.
Please place your donation in an envelope marked Strength for Service or eartag your check and place with your regular offering.
