2009 CROP Walk Sunday, Oct 18
Will start at Salem UMC, Van Horne at 1:00 P.M. and then will walk to the Benton Community Track and continue there for about an hour and back to the church for food and fellowship. All are welcome!

Our work trip to Bidwell/Riverside is fast approaching. The day to head for Des Moines is this Thursday, October 22. We usually plan on arriving at Bidwell at 9 a.m. Cars will leave the Norway church at 7:00 a.m. Anyone wishing a ride can come and meet with us at that time. There are cars leaving the other churches also. We will all meet at Bidwell. Look forward to a fun and rewarding day.

Would you please collect the song inserts from the bulletins so they can be brought back to the parish office for reuse. We will be doing Shout, Here I Am through October.

Basic Lay Speaking Training Fri., Oct. 30 (beginning at 6 p.m.) and Sat., Oct. 31 (8 am to 4 pm) at Pictured Rocks Camp, Monticello. Cost: $35. Contact the parish office for registration form.
