Attention Norway
Camp Brunch for August is being cancelled due to going back to school so early this year. It will resume with Camp Brunch for September on 9/17.

Something Different
for Parish Event at Blairstown
Come and see! It will be Sunday, August 22 at 3:00 P.M. in the church basement. A light supper will be served about 4:45 P.M.

MISSIONS:

BENTON CO. next week bring pasta/pasta sauce (especially spaghetti) or your choice. Collection boxes are located at entryways.

TAMA CO. next week bring canned or packaged meals (mac n cheese, Spaghettios, etc.) or your choice to the Elberon church.

Please remember that outdated food will not be accepted at any of the food pantries.

Empty pill bottles should be clean and have all labels removed.


Norway Senior Dining
is held each Thursday. Meals are $3.00. Call by 8 a.m. on Thursdays for a meal. Contact Barb Hastings 227-7504 for more information. During August the Norway Methodists are in charge of the meals. Please contact Joan Mithelman if you are available to help.

For those who remember:
It has been learned that Harley Wertz has incurable cancer and he is at home and is comfortable, after spending some time in the hospital with blood clots in the lung.


Church Week at Theisen’s
Monday, August 16 through Sunday, August 22, 2010
Earn money for your church. During this time period for any member of a UMC who makes a purchase at any Theisen’s store, and submits the original receipt(s) to their church by September 5, 2010, Theisen’s will donate 5% of the net total of each receipt after sales tax is deducted. Theisen’s hopes this program will help your church fund its necessary projects.
