at 4:00 P.M. prior to the first Benton Community home football game Friday. Bring your lawn chairs and join in the fun!!!

MISSIONS:

BENTON CO. next week bring pasta/pasta sauce (especially spaghetti) or your choice. Collection boxes are located at entryways.


TAMA CO. next week bring peanut butter & jelly or your choice to the Elberon church.


Norway Senior Dining
is held each Thursday. Meals are $3.00. Call by 8 a.m. on Thursdays for a meal. Contact Barb Hastings 227-7504 for more information. During August the Norway Methodists are in charge of the meals. Please contact Joan Mithelman if you are available to help.

WHAT’S COMING UP:
Attention Norway another cleaning day has been set for Saturday, September 11 at 8 a.m. to clean the downstairs. Please write this on your calendar now. Many hands are needed for this cleaning. If you can’t come and wish to help you can clean an area at your convenience and leave a note as to what you did.

Norway's annual ice cream social is planned for September 19th, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Come and join us! Norway folks will be contacted for donations to the meal as well as help to set up and serve that night.

Mark your calendars!
The Elberon church will be having a Chicken Noodle Dinner/Rummage Sale on Saturday, Sept. 25 from 8:00 A.M.-6:00 P.M. An auction will be held at end of day.


OTHER THINGS:
URGENT HELP is needed in Colfax to muck and gut homes. The fire station in Colfax is ready to accept volunteers. Please call Wendy at the EMS Office at 515-674-9113 if you are able to help.
