Mark Your Calendars!

Norway's annual Ice Cream Social will be held on Sunday, September 7^th, 4:30 to 7:00 P.M.  This year brats will be served along with the usual Social food. 

 

 

OTHER THINGS:

Van Horne Lions Breakfast, Sun. Aug. 17th 8:30 – Noon at the Community Room.  The proceeds will be used to replace the worn out Welcome to Van Horne sign at the Chelsea Bank corner.

 

Nelda Schlue Memorial Scholarship

It is time for college students who are members of Salem UMC to apply for the Nelda Schlue Scholarship. Nelda was a life long member of Salem and as a teacher, was very interested in the youth of the church.

In order to be eligible, an applicant must have successfully completed at least one year of their program. This includes community college and graduate programs.

Applications are available at the church office or from Karen Schlue. The applications need to be completed and returned by September 1. The award will be made in December.
