Making cards for “Cards of Peace” @ Salem, Wed., June 13 @ 6:30 P.M.

The UMW of Marengo U.M. Church has invited us to their annual Missionary luncheon on Thursday, June 14th at 12:00 noon. The speaker will be Verna Boland who will give a presentation about the 45 years of Israeli occupation of Palestine and the effect this has had on the lives of the ordinary people of the Holy Land.  Members of the parish including pastors are included in the invitation.

Vinton Lutheran Home Golf Tournament @ Vinton Country Club

Friday, June 15, Two-person Best Shot Golf Tournament with 2 tee times. Shotgun start at 9:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. Cost $60 per team for one 9 hole round or $80 for 18 holes. Lunch will be served. Proceeds used for renovation & building projects. Contact Jessica @ 472-2092 with questions.
