A letter of commendation was received from District Superintendent, Dave Crow to recognize the churches of Peace Parish for paying their 2011 apportionments 100%. Certificates will be awarded to the churches at the District Conference on May 6. Dave wrote: “Heartfelt thanks goes to each one who made possible this funding of the mission of Jesus Christ in Iowa and around the world. Your sacrificial commitment touches and transforms lives. Thank you. May God continue to bless your ministry in Christ’s name.”

Attention Salem UMW members, the RSVP will go in this Friday the 27th for those planning to attend the May 10 breakfast in Vinton. If you plan to go, please sign the list on the bulletin board in Salem Hall or give Brenda a call 442-3428.
