A Parish Local Emergency Response Team is being formed. It is hoped that at least 1 person from each church will be involved. The goal of this team will be to have plans made for quick response when a local emergency arises. Please let Norm or Christy know if you’re interested.

Peace With Justice Sunday will be observed next Sunday, Sept.25. Please place your offering in the envelope that will be provided or eartag your check and place with your regular offering.

Ingathering is coming soon, the UMW at Salem will be collecting items for UMCOR Health Kits. Following are the items needed:
* 1 new hand towel
(15”x25” up to 17”x27”)
* 1 new washcloth
* 1 bath sized bar of soap in
wrapper (3 oz. or larger)
* 1 large, sturdy comb
(not pocket sized)
* 1 new toothbrush in original sealed
wrapper (adult size only)
* 1 new file or fingernail clipper (no
emery boards or toenail clippers)
* 6 band aids (3/4”)
* $1 for toothpaste to be purchased
by the UMCOR Depot.

There is no group transportation available at this time. If you’re going and willing to provide transportation for others please let her know that as well.
