Food Bank Items for month:

BENTON CO. – boxed meals or your choice.

TAMA CO. – Please bring your choice of non-perishable holiday food items (ex: boxed stuffing, canned: meats, gravy, vegetables, fruit, cranberry sauce, instant mashed potatoes/rice, Jello, Dream Whip, etc.) to the Elberon Church and place on the altar. Items collected will be delivered prior to Thanksgiving to help those in need during the holidays.

Attention Norway!
Thanksgiving Ingathering will be here before we know it. Needs for school kits are:
1. spiral notebooks (approx.. 8 ½ X 11) wide ruled,
70 pages
2. one 30 cm metric ruler
3. one box of 24 crayons ( no more – no less) Crayola preferred
4. one 2 ½” eraser
5. one blunt scissors
6. one hand pencil sharpener
7. six unsharpened pencils with erasers.

Many baby jackets are put together so if you wish to help purchase snaps, see Nola Moser.

‘See You at the Pole’
This Wednesday, September 28 at 7:00 A.M. any interested high school/jr. high students and adults are encouraged to gather at the flag pole at the high school for ‘See You at the Pole’. There will be a short program and prayer. This is a nationwide event that will be taking place all across the United States.
