WHAT’S COMING UP:
Attention Norway
There are still boxes to be taken to Good Will. Please do your share by picking up three or four of them for delivery to Good Will. If there is anything left that you want, please remove it soon. The last items will be taken to the land fill.

After worship fellowship has been cut to two Sundays a month for now. Please sign up for either the first Sunday or the third Sunday, which will be the Camp Brunch each month.

Summer Parish Event
The Blairstown Church is having something very different for their Parish Event this year. Come and see! It will be Sunday, August 22rd at 3:00 P.M. at the church. A light supper will be served about 4:45 P.M.

BENTON CO. next week bring small containers, please, of laundry/dish detergent, pancake syrup or your choice. Collection boxes are located at entryways.

TAMA CO. next week bring canned or packaged meals (mac n cheese, Spaghettios, etc.) or your choice to the Elberon church.

Please remember that outdated food will not be accepted at any of the food pantries.

Empty pill bottles should be clean and have all labels removed.


Norway Senior Dining
is held each Thursday. Meals are $3.00. Call by 8 a.m. on Thursdays for a meal. Contact Barb Hastings 227-7504 for more information.


Vacation Bible School 2010
This week:
Norway – July 26-30 – 6-8 p.m. Closing on 30th.

Van Horne – August 1-5 – 6-8 p.m. Closing on 5th.


OTHER THINGS:

The United Methodist Church and Block by Block have been chosen to receive the 2010 Governor’s Volunteer Award. There will be an award ceremony on Thursday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the Prairie High School Concert Hall in Cedar Rapids. The Governor will be attending the event to present awards. The public is invited to attend this awards ceremony.
