Galactic Blast Vacation Bible School 2010
Dates have been set for VBS in July and August. Discussion was held at the last parish meetings on having a VBS Stage Crew that would be responsible for putting up, transferring and taking down decorations and props (other responsibilities are possible) between the churches during this time. It is hoped that this would give more opportunity for participation in this important ministry in our parish and take some burden from the VBS directors and pastors.
If you are interested please let Pastor Norm or Pastor Jena know.

Freedom Quilts Program by Betty Nielson of Fonda, IA Sat., April 17, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Vinton, IA. She began this project in response to the Sept. 11, 2001 tragedy. It has provided thousands of quilts to 9-11 victims’ families and to soldiers families. Coffee – 9:30 A.M. Program – 10:00 A.M. RSVP not required. Free will offering.
