This summer, Matthew 25 Ministry of Cedar Rapids is doing all they can to rebuild community in the Taylor and Time Check Neighborhoods. One part of this is having a place where people can gather and eat each Monday-Friday. The Neighborhood Meals program is open to everyone who is hungry for food or community, from 12pm-1pm. They are especially seeking to make sure each kid in the neighborhood has a well balanced lunch and a place to see their friends this summer. If you or someone you know is interested in joining them for this free lunch during the summer, just show up at Trinity United Methodist Church, located at 400 3rd Ave. SW.
If you would like to volunteer to help serve Neighborhood Meals this summer, you can see available days by visiting their website at www.hub25.org and clicking on the Volunteer Info tab. After checking the calendar for available days, you can call or email Edith Kendall, the Neighborhood Resource Coordinator, at 362-2214 or edith@hub25.org.

Norway Senior Dining
is held each Thursday. Meals are $3.00. Call by 8 a.m. on Thursdays for a meal. Contact Barb Hastings 227-7504 for more information.
