COMING UP:

Salem DeWall Circle Out to Lunch, Fri., July 5.

 

 

OTHER THINGS:

Salem VBS was held June 11th and 12th and had a total of 58 children attending.  There were 22 adults that helped during these 2 days.  We were able to raise $127 for Imagine No Malaria.  A Great BIG thank you to all that helped make this possible.  This was a great cooperative effort of everyone and we are very proud of our Salem Congregation for stepping up in this adventure.

Cards of Peace will be making cards on Monday, June 24 at 9:00 A.M. @ Salem and will be doing so on the 4^th Monday of each month.

Anyone from any of the churches that would like to help is needed.

Also, someone from each church is needed to let Pam Claassen know by email (maddiesgma@netins.net) or phone (228-8685) on Sunday afternoon/evening the names of those needing a card that are mentioned during joys & concerns at  morning worship.

Vinton Lutheran Home Two-Person Best Shot Golf Tournament with 2 tee times. Shotgun start at 9:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. at the Vinton Country Club on Friday, June 21, 2013. Cost is $60 per team for one 9 hole round or $80 for 18 holes. Price includes green fees, lunch and prizes. Lunch will be served in the clubhouse from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. for all participants.
