Parish Outdoor Farewell Service and Potluck for Pastor Norm and Althea and Pastor Christy and Gary will be held on the lawn at Salem, Van Horne NEXT Sunday, June 24 at 10:00 A.M. A potluck meal will follow.  Meat and beverages will be furnished by the Salem Men’s Group. Those attending are asked to bring a side dish to share, their own table service and lawn chair. In case of rain both will be held in the Salem church. Our offering will go to Imagine No Malaria. Our goal is for Peace Parish to save 50-100 lives ($10 per life) by our offering. Imagine No Malaria is an effort of The United Methodist Church to eliminate death and suffering caused by malaria in Africa by 2015. The United Methodist Church is a founding partner of the United Nations Foundation’s Nothing But Nets campaign, which works through Imagine No Malaria and focuses on improving health infrastructure and empowering communities for a sustainable victory over the disease. There will be no services at Elberon or Norway.

OPERATION OVERBOARD VBS at Salem

July 15-19, 2012  -  6:00-8:00 PM
Program Thursday, July 19th at 6:00
It takes many people to make Vacation Bible School an event that will enrich the spiritual lives of the children of our church and community. Adults and young adults (current 6-12th grades) are needed to make this year’s VBS happen.
