WHAT’S COMING UP:
High School Youth will meet today in Salem Hall, 4-6 P.M. It will continue to meet at the same place and time on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.
Blairstown Worship
Beginning Saturday, October 3, Blairstown’s worship service will be held on Saturday evenings starting at 5:00 P.M. There will be no Sunday morning worship service.
Parish Event at Blairstown
On Sunday, October 4 the evening will start with games at the Blairstown Park at 4 P.M. The games will be followed by a light meal at the church. The evening should conclude by 7 P.M. Please bring lawn chairs.
Camp Brunch at Norway
today following worship. (10 A.M.) Free will offering.
Elberon 125th Anniversary Program
The final event of the celebration will be the program this afternoon at 1:30. All are invited.

AT THE NORWAY CHURCH, secret sewer/shoppers have prepared 25 colorful school bags for the Thanksgiving Ingathering. You may purchase one/several of these for $5.00. The actual cost of these bags is $3.00 plus the requested $2.00 shipping charge. The church will receive $11.00 mission credit for each filled bag donated. Checks should be made payable to Dorothy Blackburn.
OTHER THINGS:
Thank you to the Norway church and the parish as a whole for making our ice cream social a huge success. It is a great way to bring the parish and the local community together for a social evening and the weather cooperated!

The date set for the trip to Bidwell/Riverside is October 22. Put this on your calendar and start putting aside nice winter clothes, blankets, etc. to take to the center. Specific info on the work day will come closer to the event. Call Dorothy Blackburn at 227-7559 or email at ldblckbrn@southslope.net with questions. Anyone who has made this work trip finds it a very fulfilling experience.
Attention Norway UMW members: If you have saved pop can pennies for Bidwell, they need to be turned in ahead of that date.
